Booking at Shows

The best opportunities for booking more shows are at your Shows! The guests are already sold on the products, they had fun, and they learned a lot about skin care.

They also learned, because you told them, how they can make money and earn free products by hosting their own shows.

There are several ways you can encourage bookings at shows. The easiest way is to always assume the booking:

"Sue, when we do your show you will get the star treatment by receiving a full makeover." You can say it teasingly, but it will put the idea into her head, and if she is at all interested that may be all it takes.

When presenting your hostess with her free thank-you gifts, tell the guests that they will also receive these gifts, free, when they book their own show.

If no one volunteers, however, ask right out if anyone would like to hold their own show. For example, while you are helping each guest with her individual order.

Pay attention to each guest. Look for someone who is really enjoying themselves, who loves the product, who was a hostess for another direct sales company, or who mentions someone else who would be interested in L'Bri.

Don't be pushy or aggressive, but do be confident, enthusiastic, and encouraging. Remember, this is a wonderful opportunity that you would like to share with others!

Okay, your hostess has had her show and is interested in becoming a L'Bri Consultant herself. Now what do you do?

Actually the time to begin planting seeds and nurturing them begins during the show itself.

Here's a great (almost) anacronym (welll, it's close!) to show how easy it is to sponsor someone:

T Take the time to know your hostess, in case you don't already. Does she work outside the home? Does she have children? What are her hobbies? Find a common ground upon which to build a relationship.

A Always do a brief sponsoring talk in your introduction to the show. Give your reasons for starting with L'Bri. You could also say "There are three reasons why I'm here tonight. The first reason is to give _____ (your hostess's name) all the free products I can. The second is to show all of you how to save money. And the third is to show some of you how to make money."

L Drop sponsoring seeds throughout your presentation. "This came in my showcase." "I earned this in the last contest." You can start your own business for a small investment! Ask me how!" "How many of you ladies work? How many of you earn $20 to $60 an hour or more? If now, maybe you should talk to me about what I do!"

K Keep dropping income opportunity seeds during the Show. Listen to what the guests are saying, and select someone in particular and let her know you think she'd be great at it!

I Play the Name Game to get referrals for future parties. Always ask for referrals during your show. "Who do you know that would like to earn more money?" "Who do you know that would like to be able to afford a nice vacation?" "Who do you know that would like to quit her job and work from home?"

N Never forget to give sponsoring packets out to the guests. Don't leave anyone out! You could say, "Mary, I couldn't help noticing how much you loved our products. Have you ever thought of doing something like this? Wait for her response. Well, why don't you take some information home with you this evening and I'll call you in a few days. Okay?"

G Get down to business with your hostess right after the show. Show her how much she would have made if she had been the Consultant conducting the show. Remind her that the sales and bookings from her show could start her own business, and that her kit would soon be entirely paid for!

If you don't put the opportunities out there, nobody can pick up on them.

Helping Your Hostess - Problem Prevention

Helping Your Hostess - Problem Prevention

Here are some things to remember that will help ward off potential problems or distractions at the show:

No children at the show - babies are fine, but unless you can arrange for someone to watch the children in another room (still not the best option), it is best to not have Mom's attention divided, or the Consultant's (or anyone else's!), either.

Let this be a Mom's night out for fun with the ladies!
Avoiding Postponements or Cancellations
The most effective method for avoiding postponements or cancellations is to properly coach the hostess in advance. Let her know what you will be doing and what to expect, including her Hostess Incentives.

Share your enthusiasm and confidence with her, and if she is nervous, remind her that you will be doing the demonstration and answering questions.

If she has to postpone or cancel, be gracious! Obviously, if it isn't because of a tragedy that she is postponing or cancelling, ask her to commit to another date and time during the following week that will work for her. Ask her specifically if the first part of the week or the latter part will work. If you are too general, it may not happen.

This may be her first time as hostess, and not sure what all it involves, or what to do or say.

She is your teammate, so you want to give her all the help and support she needs!

Here is an example on what she might want to say to invite guests to their L'Bri show:

"Hi Sue, this is (hostess name). I'm going to have a L'Bri Pure n' Natural Skin Care Show here at the house in a couple weeks that I'm really excited about. Have you heard of L'Bri yet? We will learn all about natural skin care products and how to keep our skin young and healthy looking the natural way.

It will give us a chance to sit back, relax and enjoy some pampering. I would love for you to come! (Be enthusiastic!) It's at 7:00 Friday evening, May 2nd. Come as you are, bring a friend if you'd like, and enjoy a night out! Can I count on you to be there?"

If she says, "Sure, I'd love to!", then say, "Great! I will put you down. I look forward to seeing you!"

If she says "No, I can't make it" because she has another commitment or isn't interested, have your hostess say, "I can have my L'Bri Consultant send you some FREE samples to try. I know you will love these products once you experience them. How does that sound?"

As a L'Bri Consultant, the appointments you make for Shows are called bookings. A Show consists of a hostess and a minimum of four guests who are not yet using L'Bri Pure n' Natural products.

Holding a minimum of 4 shows per month will easily enable you to reach your goals, whether you choose to work at it full time or part time. Of course, the more shows you hold the more products you will sell, the more money you will make, and the more your business will grow!

Also, from your bookings you will receive additional bookings from new customers who want to hostess their own bookings. Many of these new customers will want to become Consultants as well, and you become their Sponsor, another way to earn money.

L'Bri skin care shows are a win-win situation for absolutely everyone involved.

The attending guests get an evening of fun, fellowship, and they get to try truly wonderful skin care products.

The hostess gets a free makeover, free L'Bri products, and, of course, fun!

In order to maintain your status as a L'Bri Consultant, you must sell a minimum of $300 in products each month. There is also a yearly renewal fee of only $35, after your first year.

Selling $300 per month is easy to do, if you set your goals and have a marketing plan.

Of course, you probably won't want to go just for the minimum!

There is no limit to how far you can go and how much money you can make. It really is up to you, depending on how much time and effort you want to put into your business.

You can also take it easy if you want to; this could be a second job for you to earn just a little extra money, and of course that is fine, too. That is another wonderful thing about working with L'Bri, the flexibility it gives you. The freedom to just coast, or to soar as high as you would like.

Start making a list of everyone you know, then give each of them a call and let them know about your exciting new business! This is the time to use your L'Bri Commercial.

How You Make Money


How You Make Money

There are several ways in which to make money selling L'Bri Pure n' Natural skin care products.
  • Direct Sales
  • Sponsoring new Consultants
  • Moving up through the ranks
Direct Sales
The first and most obvious is through Direct Sales. This can be done through in person or online marketing, or through at-home parties.

When you become a L'Bri Consultant, you will instantly begin earning a 20% commission on every product you sell.* This is true whether you sell directly yourself, or

So, if you sold $900 in retail sales in your first month, you will make $180!

L'Bri also rewards you for selling more than $1,000 in one month with a 3% Retail Bonus.

If you accumulate $1200 in retail sales during the next month, you have just earned a total of $240! To break that down, it's $240 for the 20% commission, plus $36 for the 3% bonus.

Not bad!

Sponsoring New Consultants
Because L'Bri is a direct sales company, half of your job is to sell products and the other half is to recruit new members onto your team. With every new Consultant you recruit, you will earn a 3% Sponsor Bonus!

So now let's say you make $1500 in retail sales during your third month and you recruit 1 Consultant that sells $600 in products. You will make a total of $363!

That is $300 for the 20% commission, plus $45 for the 3% retail bonus, plus $18 for the 3% sponsor bonus.

You can earn even more money by moving up to the Supervisor, Manager, or even Executive Manager Positions.

Your "Commercial" is simply a conversation you have prepared to say to potential customers for your L'Bri business. It is an effective, clear and concise way to tell someone about the product and services you have to offer.

It will be a lot shorter than your "I" story; just a brief introduction to what you you are doing (selling a truly excellent skin care product line because of what's in it and what it did for you) and enthusiastically inviting them to try it, too.

So now when people ask you, "What's new?", you can tell them!

It is good to have different versions in mind to be prepared for different situations. You can use one version for friends, another to book a skin care presentation, another to offer samples while you are out and about, and yet another to invite someone to learn more about the L'Bri opportunity.

Here's an example for someone you know:

Just call and talk enthusiastically with your friend, as usual, and proceed with:

"I've just started a new business that I am really excited about. I was recently introduced to a line of pure and natural skin care products called L'Bri that I am so pleased with that I just have to tell you about it!

Have you heard about L'Bri Pure n' Natural yet? It's an aloe-based skin care line that actually nourishes your skin from the inside out, and leaves any type of skin feeling and looking healthy and silky smooth.

Actually, you can use most of this for contact with people you meet out and about in stores, at work, or wherever.

Okay, so you've heard or seen testimonials from people who make a gazillion dollars selling something online. Lately the trend is towards writing and marketing your own ebooks.

Certainly that saves on shipping costs (nil) and publishing costs (just type it into your computer and you're done)! That also, hopefully, makes the cost of the ebook more affordable, since there are also no warehouse or handling fees.

It really is a great idea, and if you like to write and have something to write about, something people would be interested in, either new or with a new slant to it, go for it!

There are other ways, though. What about the skin care industry? It is a recession proof business, so you might want to consider looking into it, especially in times like these. Then you have to ask, What's the best product to sell?

Ah, I'm glad you asked!

I use and sell only L'Bri Pure n' Natural skin care products because I believe they are the very best, by far. I love what they have done for my dry and sensitive skin, and I know they can help others with any type of skin. What's On Sale This Month!

Don't you just love a good sale? Don't you love saving money, especially in these tough economic times? Well, so does everyone! That's why it's important to let your present and potential customers know what is on sale at all times.

If you have an online business, make it a headline feature on your blog or website's main page. That's easy to do, just be sure to update it a day or two before the first day of the month.

If you like to do shows, have plenty of colorful flyers on hand to give out. Mail out to all your current customers, as well.

You know those Avon brochures you always seem to see lying around doctor's offices, the lunch room at your job, the gym ladies room? If you ask permission, chances are excellent that you will be able to leave your flyers there as well.

Think outside the box, too. What about laundromats and grocery stores? They usually have special racks for reading material or sales literature. Use your imagination and notice the places you frequent and drive by on a regular basis.

The point is to get the word out, and let as many people as possible know about and take advantage of either getting their favorite products at a sale price, or feeling like now they can try something new that they have had their eye on for awhile. That always does it for me!

How to Write Your "I" Story


How to Write Your "I" Story

This is an important part of your sales technique, and you will use it for your shows.

People are curious, and want to know why you are a L'Bri Pure n' Natural Consultant. And that's a valid question! So you need to have your "I" Story written down and prepared so you're ready with an answer.

Since you are selling L'Bri products because you discovered for yourself what a great product line it is, that it will help any skin type and leaves your skin so healthy looking and feeling so soft, this is something you will want to share with everyone!

The "I" Story is about you, but the goal is to help others see that they will also love the products. It's a great way to get guests excited about L'Bri and what it can do for them.

There are four major points to cover in your story:

1. How you were introduced to L'Bri. Maybe it was a friend's show where you had so much fun and learned things about your skin that you never knew. Or maybe it was online. Whether it was at a show or from an online ad, because you saw for yourself what it did for your skin, and because you wanted the free products or extra money that hosting would bring you.

2. Your own product testimonial. Tell exactly how the L'Bri products improved your skin - be specific, such as having tried so many other skin care products that never gave you the clear, soft, healthy glow that L'Bri does.

3. Why you decided to become a Consultant and what you plan on doing with the money you earn. Maybe it was because you wanted to stay at home with your new baby, or be there when the kids come home from school. Maybe you're an at-home mom now who wants to make some extra money. Or maybe you just want to supplement your full-time day job.

Don't forget to mention things you'd like to use the extra money for, whether it's for a vacation or retirement, pay off a bill, new clothes, free skin care products or just extra spending money.

4. An invitation to your guests to look at the L'Bri opportunity to join the team themselves. Explain some of the benefits, such as earning extra money and helping others. And show them how much fun they can have doing it, just as you are!

In Home Parties are the traditional method for direct sales. They've been around for a long time, and they are still a very effective and fun way to earn money.

You can be a hostess yourself prior to joining L'Bri and becoming an official Consultant. Once you become a Consultant, you will want to find people that are willing to hold a party for you. These people come from your family, your friends, neighbors, co-workers, postman, store clerk - in fact, absolutely any one you know!

In order to qualify for a home party to count, you must have at least 4 people attend and have a minimum of $300 in sales.

It is an excellent opportunity for the Hostess, the Consultant, and the guests. The hostess receives a free makeover, free L'Bri products, and a fun evening or afternoon with friends. The Consultant earns money from making sales and new contacts who can then host parties.

Everyone wins!

You also have the satisfaction of knowing that you have helped people with their skin care needs, and best of all, the people who purchase L'Bri products are on their way to enjoying healthier skin themselves.

What are some of the ways to sell skin care?

Word of mouth - when you find a really great skin care product that gives you great results, others will notice. They will start asking you about your "glow", or your new, radiant complexion.

Friends, relatives, neighbors, co-workers - all will notice and will probably be interested when you tell them what caused the change. One thing is for certain, you will never know unless you try!

Direct Sales/Marketing:

1. Hostess a party, or "show". A show consists of a hostess and a minimum of four guests who are not yet using L'Bri products. You can be the hostess if you are not yet a L'Bri Consultant. Click here for more information on why you might be interested in working for L'Bri Pure n' Natural products!

Keep in mind that the more shows you hold, the more product you can sell, and the more you will earn. Additional bookings (appointments for more shows) come from these shows.

2. Start a blog or a website on the internet. This way you can present all your products and information online, without having to host a show, if they are not to your liking.

You can have a successful business at home working online!

Do a one-on-one Consultation. This method is very effective because you can give greater individual attention to the potential customer.

Give samples to anyone you think might benefit from the L'Bri products. Once people try the samples for about a week, they are usually sold right away.

Once they do, you can become their Sponsor, and they can become a Consultant and you will start earning a percentage of the sales they make.

To begin with, you are the best salesman when you truly believe in the product you are selling. Yes, I know that some people could sell ice cream to an Eskimo, but let's look at some realistic suggestions for selling skin care.

Believing in what you want to offer others will give you the enthusiasm needed to get the information across to others. This belief needs to be based on sound knowledge.

Not only do you need to believe in it yourself, and know that the product actually does what it says it will do, but it needs to be of good quality and value. Especially these days!

Knowing that a product will actually benefit others is also important.

And, obviously, the more you know about the product, the better job you can do both of selling and answering questions to help potential customers decide.

Learn as much as you can about the product - but don't wait until you think you know "everything" there is to know about it. First of all, you probably won't ever know everything about anything, but also while you are learning, if there is something you don't know and can't find it in the company literature, just ask someone who does!

The "pure" gel of the unadulterated Aloe Barbadensis forms the base and is the first ingredient in the L'Bri Pure n' Natural skin care product line. There is a very important reason for this.

Aloe Vera gel is well known for its healing and soothing properties, especially on burns, but it is equally effective on bruises, cuts, abrasions, insect bites and other damaged skin tissues.

You may keep a pot of the Aloe Vera plant on hand in your kitchen in case of a burn. We have several plants going in our home because they are so easy to grow and love to produce babies, but one plant is really plenty for practical purposes!

The gel, of course, is the usable part. You cut open the spear-like leaf or just break off the tip of one and rub the oozing gel onto the burn.

There are more than 200 different species of Aloe, yet only four are recognized as being of nutritional value to humans and animals. Aloe Barbadensis Miller is at the top of these four since it is the most potent and nutritious, with only the mature plants bearing the greatest benefits.

Modern research tells us that one of the plant's effects is its enhancement of a proteolytic enzyme action in the skin tissue. By helping the natural process of cell division and sloughing off of dead cell tissue, the Aloe, in effect, rejuvenates and rebuilds new, healthy tissue at an accelerated pace. This is the same process that gives children that fresh, pink, healthy glow.

And, because Aloe is a succulent, it helps to maintain the natural moisturizing agents in the skin, helping retard the natural evaporative process and even drawing moisture from the air around us.

Aloe is able to penetrate the outer skin surface, taking its healing and moisturizing processes deeper within our skin.

The Aloe plants used in the formulation of L'Bri products come from only the highest grade cultivated in the Rio Grande Valley. The leaves are hand-picked, and then hand-filleted (sliced open) to ensure that only the purest, innermost gel of the plant is used.

Compare this to many products on the market today that will grind or squeeze the plant, which results in tainting their gel with aloins - a yellowish substance found in Aloe Vera which is actually harmful to skin tissue. The completely clear gel derived by L'Bri's method is a sure sign of the very highest grade of Aloe gel.

Then there is the stabilization process. Most companies use a heat pasteurization process utilizing high heat, which destroys most of the Aloe's natural benefits and healing properties.
